Super Intelligence

In the Isaiah chapters we just read, one of the greatest blessings that is promised is that the Lord will hear and answer. Now we all sort of assume this is the case, right? If we’re talking about this with someone, they’d say, “Oh yeah, prayer, sure.” But I don’t know if most of us have sort of a deep, automatic sense that we just talk to God and he picks up the phone and answers.  I do and do not, much like you.

I hope not to horrify our friends too much, but I’ve been getting some use out of AI, excuse me, Super Intelligence recently: I can use it to organize information or to do research of various kinds, look up things, and get info.

But when I have a plan to do a thing and I have threshed it out and gotten advice from the SI and organized it and have it all laid out, I realize how much of what I really need to know is not available this way and can never be:

– How to enter into glory?

– How to enter into love?

– How to be like God?

– How to know that my plans will succeed despite being upheld only by my own arm?

– How to get God to help me with it?

We have had, from time immemorial, not just in our pocket but already in hand, a Super Intelligence who does not fail
