Nudist Colonies

“Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither.” But in the meantime, let’s all wear clothes.

I have heard similar things about nude beaches. The kind of people there are not the ones you want to see naked.

@Zen, what do you think of Buddhist colonies?

Actually, I know relatively little of either Buddhism or Zen. I read a bit of Zen when I read Godel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid. I liked the idea of paradox encoding higher truth.

Or are you suggesting Buddhist colonies are full of the kind of people you don’t want to see Buddhist?

Hmmm. I would hope that nudists don’t get nude, and Buddhists don’t get booed.

Mark Twain said it best: “Naked people have little or no influence on society.”

I prefer nudist colonials. The men can continue to wear wigs and powder if it fancies them though.

@Eric: Twain may have been correct in his day. But today’s media has plenty of naked influencers.
