Frustrated Temptation

It’s a weird experience to gear yourself up for a strong temptation and then it doesn’t happen.
Almost a disappointment.

I recall a Sunday School teacher saying something like this once:
“According to the scriptures, riches can be a temptation to great evils. So, of course, we turn to God and say ‘Tempt me, Lord! Tempt me!'”
