How many books out there are plausible, coherent, well-argued, and wrong?

The vast majority of books where you can see the author is wrong or mentally unwell just by reading it gives you an unwarranted confidence in the books where you can’t.

Yes.

The contra-positive also follows: True books that appear wrong/crazy because the reader has an inverted world-view.
