The theme I’m hearing is personal progress and righteousness, and building a Zion people. All the talks will be great to review and study in depth.

I enjoyed the observation that becoming as Christ is was not meant figuratively, even partly in this life.

. . . I did not realize that Elder Bednar HAD a sense of humor. But clearly, it is just so dry that it’s hard to spot.
Also, to echo Rozy, so many talks on building our own Zion culture and community, connected explicitly with the idea that we need to have a certain degree of personal righteousness for that society to succeed.

Definitely sensed some concern for where society is headed, and the antidote as always is Christlike discipleship and attributes.
I appreciate the way the brethren wade into the thick of issues doing their best to respect the feelings of those who have the wool pulled over their eyes and patiently teach things in a way that only the most uncharitable reading would have cause to find offense. (And how sad is it that even “active” church members still do their best to read between those lines and get themselves offended)

Yes, there was much about becoming our own people.
Also a lot about preparation, temporal and spiritual.
And that things are going to get worse before they get better.
