D&C 88 When All Else Are Done
August 18th, 2025 by G.
God is in the light and is the light, He is in and moves the planets and the stars, and space and time. That is essentially what D&C 88:7-13 says. One implication is that we will at some point discover we have already dwelt in the presence of God. See D&C 88:50. Each Kingdom of Glory has the presence one one member of the Godhead because it has to in order to function.
- We obviously do not have celestial flesh at the moment. But that is the natural state of our bodies. In some sense, the celestial resurrection is the *least* transformative. D&C 88:27-28
- What quickens you? A question asked you by D&C 88:29-32
- To understand the mysteries, pray about them *when you already feel that God is near.* D&C 88:62-64/
- Throughout, there appears to be some kind of parallel between the kingdoms of time (what we normally call dispensations) and the kingdoms of glory that I don’t understand. Also the “trumps,” which in Revelations are portrayed as opening different phases or dispensations of all history(?) in this revelation are portrayed as phases of the Second Coming, and then are relisted all over again as phases of revealing the secretes of the different phases or dispensations of all history.
A powerful revelation.
