Virtue is the perfection of vice.
True for some purposes, I think.

God created all the Virtues. Vice is only the weak imitation. The imitation that is shortsighted, and out of proportion to neighboring virtues.
God created Sex, and Sex is good to indulge in..
in the bounds the Lord has set, otherwise it becomes bitter. But indulgence perfected, requires restraint and other virtues indulged proportionally, meaning… that ends up with the entire Gospel, in the most expansive sense.
