Behold Your Little Ones
On the sweetness of your second primary program this year.
The opening prayer. “Please bless that we can have a fun time and that we all have fun, amen.”
Manic giggling.
The little guy with the blue suit and matching blue tire, gold tie pin, both hands in pockets, relaxing GQ style.
Wiggle wiggle wiggle.
GQ comes to the microphone. He looks bored. “The Book of Momon is the keystone of ow weligion.”
“Next, we will hear from Sister X and the senior primary girls,” absolutely all the children stand up.
“If” “If” “we” “we” “repent” “repent” . . .
“I” mumble “love” mumble “the “mumble” gospel” mumble . . .
Slapping their chests in rhythm for “Book of Mormon Stories” and blushing.
Smirks.
Behold Your Little Ones, they sing. You do and cry.

I was visiting at another wards primary program yesterday. They were singing the song “Walk with you”
During the lyric
“If you don’t talk as most people do,
Some people talk and laugh at you,”
a tow-headed young sprout emphatically pointed out to the congregation. I guess he had someone specific in mind. It was all I could do to not laugh out loud.
