Totally interesting article! Especially as my first calling was as Junior Primary Chorister when I was 13 years old. That was in the olden days of Primary being held on a weekday afternoon. I don’t remember when or how I learned Give, Said the Little Stream. It was one of those songs that everyone knew and you just sang along until you knew it too.
