You’re right, that was a wild ride with no end-point. Stream of consciousness political meanderings, I guess.

It reminds me a bit of a story I heard about a “men’s” magazine that in place of text, just put “blah blah blah”, because they knew no one was “reading” their magazine for the articles.

Likewise, this leads me to believe, no one reads this magazine for coherent arguments. (They did have a positive review of the new Lord of the Rings TV show) They read it for the latest update to the list of people they hate. This is a pure software patch to their brains.
