As I have been working on my Isaiah book, I have come to understand that Isaiah has three great internal divisions, sometimes called First Isaiah, Second Isaiah, Third Isaiah, because some people suppose they were written by different authors. But there is too much purpose and structure for this to be true.
It would be better to label them
Book I :The Messiah as the King of Jerusalem
Book II :The Messiah as the Suffering Servant
Book III:The Messiah as the Anointed Conqueror.
This does put Christ-like in a whole new framing.
