Social Justice Verdict
The illegal alien who murdered Kate Steinle got off. Because he was an illegal alien; because she was so obviously a core American; because he murdered her for no real reason other than that she was a core American, and he was not; because his murdering was an inconvenient fact.
Justice was done. Social justice was done. He murdered her, but he did not social justice murder her. So he is guilty, but he is not social justice guilty. He walks free on all those charges.*
He has more rights in my country than I do. He has more rights in this country than you do. We would not walk free. We only have the right to justice. He has the right to social justice.
Who, whom.
We are the whom.
That is the definition of social justice.
America’s 200-year vacation from history is over. It doesn’t matter if you agree or not. Reality doesn’t need your consent.

First, I think we need to point out its *not* okay to be white. Anyone who says it is secretly conspires with the KKK. Whites need to be removed, and it’s not *really* a crime to do so.

I just learned that the shot that killed Steinle was a ricochet. I can see how it might be hard to convict someone of murder in that circumstance. You would think at least manslaughter would stick, but he claimed it was an accidental discharge. With the “beyond reasonable doubt” standard, again a conviction might not be easy to come by under any circumstances. I’m not saying PC didn’t enter into it, but I don’t feel quite as bad as I did at first.
Regardless, the failure to turn him over to ICE was outrageous.

The perp should not have been walking around in this country, and he shouldn’t have had or handled a gun. Arguing directly for lesser, but still serious charges (criminal negligence) might have produced different result.

Interesting thoughts. In the case at hand, the perp was clearly guilty. The question was what specific crime(s) was he guilty of.
Your thoughts on justice are particularly interesting in the context of the current wave of sexual harassment cases, which are often “he said, she said” cases, but then a whole host of accusers and character witnesses comes forward.

And known by experience to be good – not assumed on the basis of mere rumour and hearsay – which is all we ‘know’ about most people nowadays.
