Define “Zion”
Zion is the pure in heart. There are no poor among her. And so on.
These are the standard definitions of Zion. They are good.
I just found a new one.
Zion is that which increases.
For Zion must increase in beauty, and in holiness; her borders must be enlarged; her stakes must be strengthened; yea, verily I say unto you, Zion must arise and put on her beautiful garments.
D&C 82:14 (my italics).
Of course we see people and things all the time that appear distinctly un-Zionlike but also “flourish like the green bay tree.” But they don’t continue to grow. They flourish then wither. Zion keeps growing.
Ever more beautiful, ever more holy–there is something there that is deeply connected to the mystery of godliness.

Sounds like it has a connection to “eternal increase”.

“Eternal Increase” is I Ching hexagram 42. What was your question again?

But it’s not fixed. It still says “no pure among her.”
Funny how the opposite error, “Zion is the poor in heart,” wouldn’t look strange at all.
