More D&C thoughts once everybody else has moved on. For the cognitive aristocrats in the slow thinking movement.
76:30 says that the sons of perdition are overcome by Satan. So if you haven’t become a son of perdition, you aren’t overcome. You may be taking blows. You aren’t knocked down.
37 says they die the second death. No body? No resurrection? It makes sense given everything else about resurrection in section 76, but I have always heard that everyone gets resurrected.
If you read vv. 62-63 and have talked to Jehovah’s Witnesses, basically this is what they describe as the fate of the special 144k. They mainly seem to be explicitly aiming for what we would call the terrestrial kingdom.

I expect that the Sons of Perdition are resurrected, but imagine an eternity with every two-bit devil trying to possess you. The Second Death is separation from God. Even the Telestial have some light.
But I also expect we have the Cliff Notes version of the Plan of Salvation. We have what we need, but I am sure there are more details and depth than we know.
