Happy Independence and Liberty Day! It’s not just a date on the calendar, but a reminder of the blessings of God and the responsibilities of citizens to live in the Promised Land of Liberty.
My ancestors came here from England in the 1870s, Scotland in 1923, Norway in 1906, and Denmark in the 1880s. I’m relatively recent as far as immigrants go. My husband on the other hand has a line that stretches back to the 1640’s in America. I met a man last fall, who, if records were available, could trace his ancestors back to Father Lehi.
We live in the greatest of places in the greatest of times!
