Beauties

There are two beauties, one being more beautiful than the other; there shall be another more beautiful than they; I am the Lord thy God, I am more beautiful than they all.

Yet it does not make sense to say “If there are two truths, one being more true than the other . . . .”
Intelligence, we are told, is not only part of spirit matter, but also, in turn, composed of light and truth.
For the first time, helps me understand, or at least begin to understand, how we may be both coeternal with God and also children of the Father.

It does make sense to me. I must be pretty far into the woods mentally speaking.
Could you explain your last paragraph, it seems interesting to me

I don’t think the idea works if truth exists on a spectrum like beauty or intelligence. I started with the thought that truth that is not true is false. Even though our understanding may increase with respect to truth or our understanding deepen, truth does not change.
On the other hand, intelligence or beauty or light can be greater or lesser in comparison without diminishing the lesser. The fact that greater beauty exists does not deny the beauty of the lesser beauty. The fact that greater light exists does not dim the lesser light.
God is more than just being – He is superlative. It is not sufficient to say that He is. He is also the Best.
And, intelligence, as defined in the Doctrine and Covenants, is light and truth, something that can increase (and decrease) and something that just is. Something that may become superlative combined with something that is independent.
This thought may be a dead end, but I am not done exploring yet. Unfortunately, that is as far as I have taken the thought for now.
