Mr. Romantic married Miss Practical. She became Mrs. Romantic.
Curious to see what you think this means. I will post my explanation tomorrow. It would be cool if someone had a good meaning that isn’t the one I intended.

She becomes Mrs. Romantic in name only! At least that’s sort of how it has worked in my marriage. I married Mr. Eternal Optimist whose mantra is “Things are going to get better.” But they won’t unless you actually change the input to produce the desired output.
One can hope that Mr. Romantic and Miss Practical will learn from each other and balance each other in their day to day living. Otherwise the constant tension of different outlooks and actions will be an oppressive weight on their yoke.

Part of the glory of marriage, is to take two different natures, and make a union that is greater than the sum of its parts. All the jokes men and women make about each other do have a lot of truth to them, and yet, and yet, done right, you end up with the best of both worlds.
Probably not what G was looking for, but that is my 2 cents.
