Given that in the younger age cohorts, the number of females is 12 to 14 % less than the number of males, the population decline is even greater than the births-per-woman indicates.

Ponders the dictator: “What are we going to do with 10,000,000 excess men ages 19 to 29 who have no hope of finding a wife? Let me ask my generals.”

Those excess young men are excess over the number of women, but they are not excess in any other sense.

I read once is that young Chinese males in Japan are more romantically outgoing and successful than the Japanese males. It was amusing in a morbid way.

Agreed. It’s just a short-cut word. But it’s not as bad as the Asian short-cut phrase “dead branches.”

There are reports that single Chinese (Han) men have been placed in Uyghur homes where the Uyghur male head-of-household has been placed in a remote… uh…. facility.

I’m unaware of the exact numbers, but hundreds of thousands of men are also being shipped world-wide in construction battalions, building ports (Djibouti and elsewhere) and other projects, such as mines (rare-earth metals), farms (Africa), and roads/infrastructure (Lombardy, Italy, where the crews were mainly from, interestingly enough, Wuhan.)

One silver lining of that diaspora may be the possibility of evangelization, and exposure to the Restoration.

I have given this some thought.

Both the US and China have in the 20th century enacted policies aimed at reducing population growth. In China this manifested as the one-child policy and its attendant human rights abuses.

The United States instead launched a generations-long psychological war against women, convincing us that having husbands and children would be detrimental to our happiness and well-being, suggesting that “career” was a better indicator of female success. More recently the trans ideology has been erasing womenhood entirely, going to far as to convince a generation of young women that they are not even women at all and that they will never be “who they truly are” until they have been sterilized. And this is hailed as “social progress.”

China had to walk back their one child policy, but the United States is still going strong because they convinced us to be complicit in our own slavery and genetic annihilation.
