Growing Up
December 31st, 2021 by G.
A 12-year old girl is crying. She says to her father, “I don’t want to grow up. I like being a kid.”
A man is crying. He says to his wife, “I don’t want them to grow up. I like being a dad.”

The difference, of course, is that even when the kids are grown, you are still a dad.

I have it on good authority that it is funner to be a grand-dad than a dad.
You have a daughter that’s around 19 now, don’tcha? What’s more on her mind these days, mission or marriage?
Have you been humming that Tevya song from Fiddler on the Roof?
