Off topic, but I’d like to see people’s reactions to this: https://newsroom.churchofjesuschrist.org/article/elder-jeffrey-r-holland-2021-byu-university-conference

Found it rather heartening

TG: Yes! “Big doin’s” as Pecos Bill would say.

G: That address deserves it own post. Wowser. A loving rebuke. But a lot of implied meaning if you read it right.

As long as we are off-topic, one thing that has really been on my mind, is while Matthew and John (of the 4 Gospels) were apostles, Mark and Luke were not. They were just ordinary shmoe members, who wrote as best they could. And yet, the New Testament, and the Covenant we will be judged by, was written by ordinary, everyday faithful members. This makes me marvel the more I think about it.

Also, if BYU should leave accreditation, we should have our own home-brew accreditation set up, ready to go.
