If that’s all it takes, then I’m all squared away, but I guess this one cable channel is shorthand for a whole class if snares. Still, popular entertainment is but one of many classes of snares. But it is by definition the one snaring the multitude.

Some typos have crept-in and corrupted that parable, I think – at any rate, I can’t make-out what it means.

You literally cannot watch anything these days, and, in fact, things from my past that seemed good now have become evil in retrospect (or in the context of these times). We watch The Lord of the Rings.

I don’t usually watch anything at all – I prefer to read – but my friends convinced me to see The Mandalorian and Hamilton recently . . . and I have to admit that I enjoyed them.

Still, with no theater willing to open (the local opera company was going to put on The Magic Flute this summer, too! With full orchestral accompaniment!), and the library mostly closed, many of my usual summer entertainment options are gone. I used to spend hours in the stacks of a summer day . . .

The adversary knows many of the faithful can sift the truth from lies on Disney+. He just wants our children to see us watching it.

He can wait a generation or two for our houses to be barren.

Bruce, the Israelites in Moses’ day could be healed from snakebites by looking at a bronze snake, and the BoM adds that many refused to do so because it seemed “too easy” to be effective.

G means that not-watching Disney+ is both very easy (agreed!) and very spiritually beneficial (no idea; nothing to compare it to) but many people will watch it anyway because it seems like too small a thing to matter.
