On the sweetness of Mormon life.
Relief Society President Speaks. Relief Society 1st Counselor speaks. Relief Society 2nd Counselor speaks. Relief Society Compassionate Service Person speaks. Bishop rises to close.
I have got a testimony today, he says. He seems moved. We listen.
The chicken is God’s perfect creation, he says. Everybody likes to eat it and it lays eggs.
Rustles in the congregation. Attention is definitely being paid. Bishop seems slightly annoyed.
The Relief Society works so well, he says, it is God’s best creation second only to the chicken.
Congregational merriment.
Bishop shrugs. Bishop laughs too.

Oh, Rob.
I should add that the RS President said her job was to teach some women to be softer to their husbands and other women to be harder on their husbands.
