Hard not to laugh at this ad.

Even harder not to laugh at myself.

A couple of days ago I posted a cri du couer about being compelled to post from my inmost being, like I had some kind of quasi-holy mandate.

Since then I have continued to post what I always post, just like this post.

What can I say?  I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul.

Maybe I have a divine mission to be goofy.

There are worse divine missions, I am sure, than being goofy. Hey, kings used to keep Fools to make sure they kept perspective. Maybe that’s what the world today needs – more of the kind of fools that can laugh at the sheer absurdity of the world.
