My Presidential Prospects

November 29th, 2014 by Vader

The American public wants me to be President. I understand their point of view. The first all-black President would be historic, and I have unparalleled experience in the field of managing vast, lethal boondoggles that I feel would translate well to the Executive. On the other hand, His Majesty would be unbearable. He seems to think politicians were created for his amusement.

I mentioned the poll to him. He said, “excellent,” and then said something about selling the capitalists the rope to hang them with. I think he may be getting senile.

Sometimes art just hits you the right way.

Through Silliness, the Stars

November 26th, 2014 by G.

Per ardua ad astra (RAF), Ad astra per aspera (Kansas).   Both mottos have been adopted by us space settlement believers.  I propose that we ought to upgrade them:

Ad astra per vanitates

All elites are rotten.  Some elites (not ours) manage to be divertingly rotten.

Moral Courage in Citizenship

November 25th, 2014 by G.

As I understand it, the majority of the witnesses whose testimony exonerated the Ferguson policeman were black.  The moral pressure to shade the truth must have been immense.
