My land.

Why would anyone want the pharmacist to shoot his shingles? Wouldn’t that make his roof leak in the rain?

If I may. The injection is intended to confer immunity to the herpes zoster virus, which is the causative agent for both shingles and the chickenpox.

It would appear that this, then, is the same vaccine being offered parents to protect their children from chickenpox. It possible, though unlikely, that I am mistaken and there is something subtly different about this particular formulation of the vaccine.

Regardless, I find it surprising and somewhat troubling that a market has been found for vaccination of adults against an infectious agent that causes a common childhood illness.
