Conspiracy theory: JFK, the mob and the CIA.

November 22nd, 2013 by Bookslinger

I read an interesting story about an alleged mob and CIA connection to the JFK assassination. It’s in the book “Double Cross: The Explosive, Inside Story of the Mobster Who Controlled America”, ISBN 1602397783, authored by Chuck Giancana (brother to mob boss Sam Giancana) and Chuck’s son Samuel. In the past, the book was on sale as a Kindle edition for only $.99, but the Kindle edition is now $10.99. Hardcover and paperback copies can be had for $.01 plus $3.99 shipping/handling.

In essence, it was a mob hit. Oswald was the patsy. Same deal with RFK, a mob hit and Sirhan was the patsy. Motivations are clearly spelled out.

The real interesting part of the story is that it essentially ties up all the loose ends or mysteries concerning those two deaths, and Marilyn Monroe’s.

I am deeply skeptical.

The best debunking of conspiracy theories I’ve found is Gerald Posner’s book.

Vincent Bugliosi, who I dislike for other reasons, nevertheless did his own debunking that is not without its merit.

I am well satisfied that Oswald was a deranged loner Communist.
