Fatherhood and Proud of It

February 20th, 2013 by Adam G.

The Spirit communicates with me in various ways, but when it acts upon me it invariably makes me want to shower love on everybody or else to get chesty or both.

In this video, the Spirit acts upon me. Fatherhood is manly. It is saecular achievement for the sake of unconditional love.

Pretty good. I like the way it makes the point that all the things I take for granted are provided by my own Father, just as my kids take for granted the things that are provided for them.

On another tack: It’s easy to make life look wonderful when you portray it as taking place on a beautiful green grassy leafy farm. : )

The Daily Beast (hardly a conservative outpost) has an article on the lack of parenthood. http://www.thedailybeast.com/newsweek/2013/02/18/why-the-choice-to-be-childless-is-bad-for-america.html

Also, I am currently reading, “What to Expect When No One is Expecting”. Interesting Times we live in. If even secular prophets are speaking and being ignored and/or contradicted, then things are in very bad shape indeed.

Agellius: Yes. It reminds me of the lake country.
