D&C 50 implies that the Holy Ghost can pass communication from one person to another.

#1 – angels minister by the power of the Holy Ghost. If God communicates that way why assume they do differently. And ultimately angels who communicate via HG don’t convey information contrary to Gods will, so its also “right” to attribute it to God. But I know I’ve received angelic ministrations that were from specific individuals via the HG

Thanks Bonnie, and to Adam for the pointer. I’ve occasionally perceived the spirits of the departed, once in the temple, sometimes during missionary work, and once in a very poignant tender situation where I attended to a widow, whose son had passed away at a function I was at.

(My father’s tone was apologetic. I thought there were some unsettled issues when he died, and apparently he agreed.

I have not sense so much impatience as a dry sense of humor. Ameliorated with what can only be described as a belly laugh when I finally got it right.)

Thanks Adam. For a revelation-based Church, sometimes it feels like we don’t talk much about the nitty gritty, modesty and restraint, I suppose. It’s interesting to me to read others’ experiences.

I have long suspected that much of what we call the Holy Ghost was actually the ministration of angels, and that those angels were people who had some interest in us, especially our departed family.

Likewise, I remember making a senseless and unkind remark about my departed grandmother, and immediately feeling her hurt and offense at what I had said. I have felt bad about that for a long time.
