On one hand, it answers a question I had, about how contentious I ought to be, when arguing. I do tend naturally towards vitriol, but my mission invested a certain horror of that in me as well.
But on the other hand, this is a more fundamental and difficult change than I anticipated. My default reaction is still to point my laser-like light beam to ‘defeat’ whatever the nonsense-de-jour is. Today it happened to be population control. It is difficult to restrain oneself when such dangerous ideas become popular in any degree.
