Indexing

October 08th, 2012 by Vader

I have been challenged by my local Church leaders, who obviously have concluded I have too much time on my hands, to become involved in the Church’s genealogical indexing program.

I have been working on passenger manifests of ships coming into New York Harbor.

One I was working on now had something delightful in it. A family was coming home from England. A mother, father, and 12-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son.

The occupation for the two children was listed as “Scholar.”

Now that’s my kind of family.

His Majesty finds uses for idle hands, sir.
