Better Dead than Divorced

His Majesty: “I’m guessing murder and suicide are exceptions to the ‘death of a parent not that harmful’ result, so there’s no practical use for this information.”

His Majesty usually manages to find the dark perspective on things.

Correlation or causation?

I’d like to see the stats compared between children raised by divorced mothers, versus children raised by never-married mothers with no father(-figure) in the house.

I have a gut feeling there are other axes or dimensions involved.

With the possible exception of Bruce Wayne, I would expect that those would not be worse than divorce, because divorce feels like being left.
