One of Keegan’s many superlative books was The Mask of Command. Eve Tushnet has a superlative reflection on Keegan, leadership, and how the roles we have to play and the mantles we have to wear are as authentically us and our mythical inner self is. I expect Tushnet’s thoughts will have a lot of resonance for Mormons who are trying to take upon them the name of Christ or who have been through the endowment.
