And, there’s now talk that (at least some of) the chemical weapons in Syria are the one’s Hussein got rid of between Desert Shield and Desert Storm.

People also seem to forget that Hussein gassed the Kurds back in the 1980′s. That issue was pretty well documented. So it was always known that Hussein had chemical weapons at some point.

Didn’t we already know about these?

Frankly, chemical and biological weapons freak me out more than nukes do.

Zen, “we” knew, but apparently the media and people who believe the media didn’t.

Oh, don’t worry. This will all be dropped down the Memory Hole soon enough, and it will be back to “CHIMPY MCBUSHITLER LIED, MILLIONS OF BABIES DIED! BABIES!” Until they find it useful or convenient to bring it back out again. “We have always been at peace with our good friends and allies in Eastasia. The chocolate ration was increased from twenty grams to ten grams this week. We have always been at war with Eastasia. We shall now pause for today’s Two Minutes Hate.”
