Medical Ethicists Advocate for Infanticide.
February 29th, 2012 by Adam G.
Nope, not kidding. These medical ethicists really are edging towards being pro-choice on infanticide. Their logic is impeccable: killing a baby a few minutes after its birth is little different from killing it a few minutes before. My baby, my choice!
As Abraham Lincoln might say, our progress in degeneracy seems to me pretty rapid.

If A=B, then B=A. Hence… abortion is infanticide.

I can’t help thinking this is a step in the right direction. Of course, they draw the opposite conclusion from the one I would draw. But pointing out the equivalence of a newborn baby and the same baby just prior to birth, has to be a good thing.
I may be crazy, but I think that if that equivalence is understood to be scientifically established, people will choose to outlaw late-term abortions (at least) rather than legalize the killing of newborns.
