Gotta say that if there’s any scene better than alcoholic Dean Martin, two days on the wagon, rousting a hostile saloon for a murderer, John Wayne backing him up, I’d like to know it.

What movie was that? You have “High Noon” in the tags, but Deano and the Duke weren’t in High Noon.

That is one of the greatest. I would also add the War Wagon, with John Wayne and Kirk Douglas into that same genre of greatness. Of course, I’d put most John Wayne movies in that genre….
