Random acts of violence

Animal rights activist solicits murder for hire of someone wearing fur. Anyone over 12 will do.

His Majesty: “Excellent. Having this widely trumpeted in the news should have almost as great a chilling effect on fur-wearers as an actual murder.”

It certainly sends a chill down my spine. Not easily done any more; one of the major power conduits runs that way and it puts out significant waste heat.

There is no one so devoid of conscience as one whose conscience has been consumed by the Holy Cause. We’ve seen it with liberal democracy, we’ve seen it with Communism, we’ve seen it with abortion activists, and, sadly, we’ve even seen it in the Church.

What would be the precise wording of the Holy Clause?

Never mind, you wrote “Holy Cause”. I was imagining a “Holy Clause” along the lines of:

“Any and all moral rules and codes of conduct for human society are hereby suspended in the event that one is Right and others are Wrong.”
