Among the LDS, there’s been a bit of delay, first birth at, say, 23 instead of 20. Where I see the much bigger change is at the back end. Not so many births to mothers over 35, fewer families with a child in high school and another in diapers at the same time.
Indeed. Modern medical science has successfully scared Mormon women out of having children past age 35, in no small measure due to the combination of amnniocentesis and abortion on demand which has brought back most of the stigma of having a Down’s syndrome child.
