Poop on the Plains

August 01st, 2011 by Adam Greenwood

On the sweetness of Mormon life.

The sacrament speaker is burly. You recall that he used to run with a biker gang before he found Jesus. His subject is “behind the scenes at the youth Pioneer Trek.” He explains vividly why saran-wrapping the toilet holes in porta-potties must be done before you haul them across jouncing mountain tracks. This lesson, he avers, was learned through sad experience.

After, a friend tells you that she brought an investigator today. Neither you nor she say anything more.

I love this Church.
