Actually, I think our entire civilization is running out of ideas. The Holy Spirit is withdrawing, and taking light and knowledge with it.

It’s been that way for at least the 30 some years that I’ve been paying attention. They’re called “standard plots”.
Even the first Star Wars movie was described by cast and crew as “Cowboys in Space.”
Have you ever noticed that you can tell jokes that are 20 years old to people who are 20 years younger than you and get away with it?

Why doesn’t the Dark Side of the Force inspire some entertaining and new ideas for movies? Or is it the same old story: bad guy always wears the black hat, er, helmet…
