This lawsuit is not as silly as New York’s gay marriage law, but it is still extremely silly. Bog-standard log-rolling can’t possibly be illegal in New York. Under some Supreme Court cases, a rule that all lobbying has to be conducted in open meetings might even be unconstitutional.
