Stupor Mundi
July 18th, 2011 by Adam G.
I am pleased to announce the birth of Stupor Mundi, our first son. We can’t say whether he will one day bestride the world in bloody conquest or merely invent an anti-gravity device to lift his cartful of Nobel prizes; the little man hasn’t decided yet.
Mother and child are doing well after some initial roil. He weighs 8 pounds at birth and is 20 1/2 inches long. He has pianist fingers and toes, and a bit of a temper. His first name is Adam, like his father, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather, and great-great-great grandfather. His middle name is Hartley, like his father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great grandfather.

You almost make it sound like how His Majesty got his trooper army.
No matter. Congratulations on the reinforcements.

Congratulations! We added our 14th grandchild on the evening of July 4, just as the fireworks were going off outside the hospital. Her middle name is Columbia.

Bookslinger,
You mean, we have to be entitled to replicate our DNA??? Ouch! Well, that explains why I’ve never been invited to “play” in the gene pool … ROFLMREO … Sigh. At any rate, congratulations, Mr. Greenwood. Please accept this chocolate cyber-cigar …

Congratulations!
Having looked around at your family line on FamilySearch (as you know, we intersect at one point), it’s fun to know the Adam Greenwood chain will continue. Best to new Adam and his wonderful older sisters and parents.
