It probably does not help that politicians do not read the bills they vote on- they can’t because they are FAR too long. Of course, I think that doing so is a kind of neglegent treason… neglegence at any rate. But I must say it tempts me to sneak into a legistative office and insert a few nonsense law in the middle where no one reads… perhaps something like waffles with chocolate chips are subject to fines in non-residential areas, or that we must all bow before Ba’al on Tuesdays.
In any case, a consistent and unchanging law would do much good. I see like worthwhile in constantly shuffling laws.
