Americans believe that about 25% of Americans are gay.
A new study estimates that about 1.4% of Americans are gay.
In other news, 50% of American believe that statistical literacy is totally gay.
80% of Americans self-identify as numero-flexible.

It is a kind of conscience soothing, thinking that people are gay. After all, if they are born that way, they can’t be expected to live the law of chastity, and if they can’t, then my faults can’t be condemned.
Bad reasoning all around of course, but I imagine that something like that goes on in people’s heads subconsciously.

[sarcasm mode being switched on here] God was soooo unfair to Sodom and Gomorrah. After all, they couldn’t help themselves. They were born that way.
(One of my Catholic friends says: If God doesn’t eventually do the same to San Francisco, He’s going to have to apologize to S and G.)
