First I discovered that I’ve been speaking prose all my life, now I find out that I’ve been a creedal Christian all my life.
I was impressed with this statement: “That this confession is an early Christian, pre-Pauline creed is recognized by virtually all critical scholars across a very wide theological spectrum.” He was able to prove it with just one citation! Virtually all critical scholars accept that this is a pre-Pauline creed. Well, I suppose it is pre-Pauline, although there is a plausible argument that it isn’t a creed….
Perhaps that one citation collects the evidence?
