I Have Never Been Angry at Unicorns

I recently had to discipline a child.
“I hate you,” she said in response.
“You do?” I challenged her.
“I didn’t mean it, daddy,” she said. “I just feel awful right now, and I wanted you to feel the same way I do.”

I felt a lot of sympathy for the willful little thing. I suspect that some atheists hope to injure God through their denials.
