If someone's traspassing you call the police, plain and simple. You don't punch them because they don't do what you tell them to. You call the police, the police come and remove him. Pure and Simple. He wasn't hitting anyone, he wasn't physically threatening anyone. To allow violence against him to go unpunished simply allows mob-violence to continue.
