My First Amendment Right, Sir.

A democratic candidate is giving a speech at a black church. When a filmer refuses to turn off his camera, he gets punched. Video here.

Anyway, I watched the video and, my view, the guy kinda got what was coming to him.

I don’t think the guy “got what was coming to him.”

If someone’s traspassing you call the police, plain and simple. You don’t punch them because they don’t do what you tell them to. You call the police, the police come and remove him. Pure and Simple. He wasn’t hitting anyone, he wasn’t physically threatening anyone. To allow violence against him to go unpunished simply allows mob-violence to continue.

Like the British guv said about Ulster, there are acceptable levels of violence.

Can’t bouncers legally forcibly eject a trespasser from a bar?

Not that I think what is appropriate in a bar is appropriate in a church, unless it’s the Church of the Open Container. And defenestration is not quite the same as a punch in the nose.
