I must admit, I felt the pricking of self-awareness when he mentioned "reassuring vulgarity [which] follows the flight of pseudo-eloquence," as that's pretty much my go-to mode for writing my movie reviews. But I say that I do it for humorous effect, so that covers my posterior, right? (Dang, did it again...)

His Majesty is a great believer in speaking plainly, at least once you are running the show. But he rarely feels the need to talk down to people and he never feels the need to use vulgarity.

In other words, he eschews both the use of hifalutin language (like "eschew") and the promiscuous use of the promiscuous epithet.

Good golly, that is a review. Have you ever seen a wolf sauntering about among the scattered viscera and fleshly gobbets of his victims seeking whom he could devour ? Me either, but if as a critic B.R. Myers does not have blood on his muzzle I'm a panjandrum.

If B.R. Myers should ever take it into his head to review our little effluvia as this blog, what ho! The imagination quells, or rather, boggles, and the heart boggles, or rather, quells.
