Obama Fakes Religious Devotion

May 24th, 2010 by Bruce Nielson

I voted for Obama and I confess I loved his famous speech on religion in America.

So this Freakonomics podcast episode about how he wasn’t even an active Church goer, but covered that fact up, is a little disappointing. Ah well, you know what you’re getting when you vote for any politician I suppose.

There is significant scriptural evidence that God prefers an honest atheist to a false disciple.

Of course, if you’re a false disciple who is really an atheist, you’re not going to care what God thinks. Conversely, some atheists speak about the importance of honesty and truthfulness in a way that makes me wonder if they’re honest atheists.

Vader writes, ‘some atheists speak about the importance of honesty and truthfulness in a way that makes me wonder if they’re honest atheists.’

Ha! Exquisitely well put.
