Abortion is the one public issue on which I keep hearing things so awful I’m stunned and breathless. The first time I heard a description of a partial birth abortion was an earlier instance. The idea that this was a “botched” abortion, in the sense that the baby failed to be dead, but was set aside to die anyway … I could not do that and expect to be capable of the degree of repentance required to get my soul back.

I am always against abortion because it is a sin to kill an innocent child.`~’
